When Vlad the Impaler impaled 20,000 of the Turkish army he did horrific things to a lot of people, but aside from a few peasants living in Romania nobody gave a hoot. Now, with the power of FB that has over 300 million people wasting an average of 2 hours a day of their lives on the site mankind's progress will slow to a halt. We will never get to mars or cure cancer because the people that would otherwise have pulled off those 'gay tricks' would be too busy tending their crops in farmville. We will descend into a new Dark Ages where eventually everyone will be everyone else's friend and the internet will be full and someone will have to empty it of something and hopefully, facebook will be the first to go.
